IMPORTANT: Naming competition image files
13th August 2014,
The digital image files must be named in the following convention:
a-s stands for A Grade Set Subject, a-o stands for A grade Open subject, and so on.
Please submit digital copies of prints if at all possible, so that if your print achieves "Print of the Month" it can be displayed online. Digital copies of prints that achieve honours or merit are also retained for selection for interclub print competions.
Digital copies of prints should have PRINT- at the start of the file name
Digital Image: a-o-Wither Hills Sunrise-Trevor Dennis.jpg
Print: PRINT-a-o-Wither Hills Sunrise-Trevor Dennis.jpg
Note the only spaces should be in the title or between firstname and lastname, but no spaces before or after the dash. Care should be taken to remove the photographer’s name from the metadata if possible.
The club has trophies that are awarded annually for most points for prints and for digital images in each grade over the course of the competition year. Not everyone is competitive, but for those who are, the committee has agreed to publish the top points in each grade for digital and prints anonymously. These will be updated each month.
If you want to know your own score, to see how you compare with the top three in your grade, you can request it when you submit your competition entries. You may not request the score of any other member.

Field Trip - Sunrise in the Sounds
E-Ko Sounds Tours will provide a low cost Sounds trip of approximately 4 hours duration to catch the sunrise, sescapes, dolphins, nesting gannets and other wildlife out there.
The cost per person is $33.33 and maximum number of people is 15. The trip departs from Picton wharf at 6.00 a.m. to catch sunrise. To achieve this, participants should meet at the car park opposite Mobil petrol station on Grove Road at 5.15 a.m. for carpooling, etc.
As a condition of the trip E-Ko would like to reproduce selected photos taken on the trip – Large size jpegs. Ownership/Copyright remains with the photographer and you will be completely free to use the photos for your own purposes. The owner will be acknowledged in any publicity using their photo.
To secure a place on the trip, notify Lisa Gauden-Ing – email@example.com – and pay the cost of $33.33 to the Club Bank Account at SBS 0313550761081 00. Places will be on a “First come, First In” basis so be in quickly if you want to secure a place and please remember to pay at the time you notify Lisa.
E-Ko understands that photos will probably need some post processing: once we know who wishes to go on the trip, we can arrange how best to achieve all this and get the photos to E-Ko. Ricky Wilson and Kamila Sanders are leading this trip and will be in touch with you near the time and on the trip re photo requirements.
